Minimal Herbs to know
(This is a list of ten herbs that I would keep nearby since they come in handy quite often. Also, training under me to be an Herb Wolf, this is the minimal requirement to pass, in terms of herb using. Magic using elements will come in Section 2. Please note that other Herb Wolves will teach differently and may require different things.)
1.) *Camorian Flower:
Effect/Usage: *Pollen causes drowsiness - Cure Insomnia; perform surgery
Smell: Sugary
Description: Looks very similar to the Moridian Flower. However, the main difference is the stem is a dark green and its center is a more reddish hue.
Environment: This flower prefers to grow in forestry. It is unusual for a Camorian flower to be found anywhere else, and if it is found elsewhere, it is considered a sign of bad luck.
Warnings:
- Don't inhale the pollen moderately or deeply. It will knock you out in seconds.
- You will wake with a headache if you inhale too much.
- Do not confuse the flower with the look-alike Moridian Flower.
2.) *Grecko Lace Leaves
Effect/Usage: *Leaves' ointment can soothe injuries - use as a band aid for small cuts; crushed into a healing solution, it can channel and aid healing magic.
Smell: Peppermint; spearmint
Description: It is a light green, peppermint smelling, and a leaved plant. It only grows to be three inches tall with leaf lengths of two inches. The edges of the leaves are slightly jagged with a rounded tip while the bottom of it has a light layer of fuzz. However, there are rare light red Grecko Lace Leaves, which have extra powerful effects and smell of spearmint, not peppermint.
Environment: It grows in the shade of most moderate climate forests, though the rare light red mutation of the plant can be found in extreme environments.
Warnings:
- Do not eat the leaves. It will cause serious indigestion and cramps.
3.) *Jeebah Plant
Effect/Usage: *Ooze reduces fevers - use on ill persons with high fevers
Smell: Cherry
Description: It grows up to two feet tall with long, outstretching limbs and slender leaves that are often bunched together. The plant itself is a dull white, though a light purple ooze layers it which drips down to the ground around it to prevent its own kind and other weeds from growing near it to protect itself from being smothered.
Environment: This plant prefers to grow independently from its own, and is most commonly found in swamps, though they've also been spotted in jungles and in moderate climates near water.
Warnings:
- This does not cure the illness. If the sickness is severe, use other herbs to kill the bacteria or virus causing the sickness.
4.) *Kabore Tree
Effect/Usage: *Incense relieves tension and relaxes the mind - use before and after stressing-inducing activities.
Smell: Apples
Description: It looks like a regular tree except for the black outlines of its leaves and black streaks found on the bark and branches.
Environment: These are poorly adaptive so they grow in regular woods in moderate climates since they don't handle high or low temperatures well. They are, unlike most trees, easily drowned so they like to be crowded around other trees or many of its own kind and as far from a water source as possible.
Warnings:
- Do not expose yourself to the incense's smoke for a very long period of time. It may calm you, but it'll also fog your mind and give you an unpleasant high.
- Do not use this in a closed space. The smoke will fill the area and suffocate you.
5.) *Keiko Fruit
Effect/Usage: *Juices counterattack chemicals and poisons that cause cramps and indigestion - use in case of ingesting Grecko Lace Leaves or simply having cramped muscles.
Smell: Citrus
Description: They grow in clusters on tall trees on the low branches strangely, while the leaves grow at the top to absorb the most sunlight it can. The skin is thick and hard like a cocoanut, but it is crescent shaped with white skin. The skin can be sawed off and used as a utensil, and the flesh of the fruit on the inside can be eaten or drained of the medical juices. The fruit is about five inches long and three inches wide.
Environment: They prefer jungle environments since they grow well in humidity and heat. However, there have been common sightings of a sub-Keiko which is almost identical to the Keiko except for it is smaller and has adapted to colder, drier climates.
Warnings:
- Do not eat because you are hungry. The juice itself is filled with a chemical that will be poisonous without other chemicals and poisons to counteract it.
- Give the correct amount of medical juice to cure the indigestion and cramps.
- Make sure the indigestion or cramps are not caused by an allergic reaction or an internal wound.
6.) *Kia Herb
Effect/Usage: *Counteracts allergic reactions and sleep drugs - use if someone is going to/having an allergic reaction; also counteracts the sleep pollen of the Camorian Flower.
Smell: Chocolate
Description: It generally looks like a cluster of overgrown grass, except it all stems from one dark brown tap root in the soil and there are light orange speckles on the individual blades.
Environment: These are also highly adaptable and are common even in deserts or in towns. They tend to group together which often emits a rather noticeable chocolate scent.
Warnings:
- Eating this herb needlessly will result in gaining flu like symptoms; mainly throwing up.
- The roots are the main source of the smell, but they are not edible. They don't taste good and will give diarrhea.
7.) *Laylu Vines
Effect/Usage: *Oils cure headaches - ingest to relieve headaches; also can be used as rope.
Smell: Bitter
Description: They are hard to spot since they naturally change their color to blend in with the environment, though the length is often times unpredictable. It can grow between the lengths of two inches to over forty meters long. Also, they grow very quickly and are very hard to cut or rip.
Environment: They have no preferred way to grow. They are one of the most highly adaptive plants and can grow even in deserts since its thick skin prevents water from escaping easily and is a very low maintenance plant.
Warnings:
- Do not lay people or objects near the vines for long periods of time. The vines have no problem growing across the ground or over something not moving, and have been known to grow around people and animals, and interlock with other sections of the vine to keep the person or animal from moving from that spot.
8.) *Moridian Flower:
Effect/Usage: *Pollen numbs the body - use as pain relief
Smell: Spring Morning
Description: It is a deep shade of purple whose petals form a cup like an aged tulip. The stem is blue-green in color and with a pink center.
Environment: They are generally highly adaptive and can be found in most environments except for deserts and swamps. Looks similar to the Camorian Flower.
Warnings:
- Don't inhale deeply unless in extreme pain or else your body will become entirely numb.
- It may become addicting if you inhale too much of it.
- Do not confuse this flower with the look-alike Camorian Flower.
9.) *Stypher Grass:
Effect/Usage: *Strong odor numbs sense of smell - render enemy unable to smell; make it easier to ignore unpleasant scents; hide food and people from predators; can be used as thread for stitches or help tie together loose materials; can be woven into a sturdy sack or pouch
Smell: Cinnamon
Description: Stypher grass varies in height depending on how hot it gets and how much water is available. It can grow between four feet to up to twelve feet. It is yellowish in color and is extremely durable.
Environment: The plant is a low temperature and low water plant, so it prefers to grow in northern areas.
Warnings:
- You may lose your sense of smell altogether if the scent is inhaled through the nose for an extended period of time. (Generally after eight days.)
10.) *Yark Bush
Effect/Usage: *Cures many illnesses - use bark to cure stomach viruses, use juices to cure infections, use leaves to cure poisons
Smell: No smell
Description: The black bark is rather soft and moist, while the leaves are dry and silver in color. The bush can grow up to five feet high, though it often appears to be a lot taller since its hundreds of leaves are six inches long and four inches wide.
Environment: They are most commonly found along the outer ridges of jungles, the interiors of swamps or growing halfway submerged in water sources of moderate climates. Because they are constantly moisturizing their bark with the medical juices, it is in constant need for more water than most plants.
Warnings:
- Identify what the problem is first. It may be a universal cure, but it does not cure everything. If signs show that the patient isn't recovering with this treatment, don't just give more. They may have a severe poisoning or sickness that requires a specific treatment.
- Always identify the sickness. There is one poison, which derive from Dragonaiy Mushrooms, where this plant's internal juices may worsen the symptoms.

Comments
Because there are advanced herbs you need to teach them anyway, obviously... but others of them are just a little insignificant, and I'm not sure if I should teach them anyway?
